Experience historical fiction inspired by the synoptic gospels through captivating storytelling and rich characters.

The Trilogy
A new trilogy of historical fiction—The Original Autograph, The Whence and the Whither, and Innocent—offers a creative retelling of the synoptic gospels. Through fictional characters and storytelling, these books immerse readers in the historical and social dynamics surrounding the writing of the gospels, bringing ancient events to life in a fresh and engaging way.
While the books acknowledge the faith-based significance of the “Word of God,” they also highlight the historical challenges in fully understanding the context of the gospels' creation. Jesus never wrote anything down, yet his teachings of love, hope, and faith spread through oral tradition, hymns, and sermons before being compiled into written texts. These gospel accounts were later shared, copied, and used to inspire faith communities facing challenges.
This trilogy does not claim to provide the exact historical accounts but instead explores the reality surrounding the gospels’ development. While some may find the fictionalization controversial, the books aim to encourage thought, discussion, and a deeper understanding of faith. By blending history and imagination, this series invites readers to reflect on the origins of the gospels and the enduring impact of Jesus’ message.
